Winter Concert, "Hawaiian Beach Party"!

The Winter Concerts for Grade 4, 5 & 6 students are coming soon! Students will perform "Hawaiian Beach Party" on two evenings so we have more room in the gym for the audience. Families are encouraged to attend only one performance.

Grade 6 actors and choir students are asked to come both evenings. If families of Grade 6 actors and choir students are not able to attend both nights, please e-mail Ms. Sayer and your classroom teacher to arrange drop off and pick up for the night you cannot attend.

Both concerts will begin at 6:30 pm. Please come to the main doors between 6:10-6:15 pm. Students will go to their classroom where they can leave their coats, boots and winter clothing layers. The audience will go straight to the gym. 

Students are asked to wear bright coloured summer 'beach wear' for the concert. Hawaiian shirt and lei's, sunglasses and sandals are optional. No hats or bathing suits please. 

Students have spent significant time learning about the cultural significance of Hawaiian music, and the role it plays within that community. 

There will be two dress rehearsals that parents may attend.
