Parent Teacher Conferences | March 21 & 22
Wildwood School will be having our Parent Teacher Conferences March 21st and 22nd.
- March 21 - In person meeting at Wildwood School
- 4:00 - 8:00 pm
- 1:00 - 8:00 pm Kindergarten
- March 22 - Online meeting through Microsoft Teams
- 8:00 am - 1:00 pm
Bookings began March 16th at 10:00 am and are online through MyCBE PowerSchool.
Please book as soon as possible. Please call the office if you require assistance with your MyCBE PowerSchool account.
Last Day of Classes | Spring Break
March 21st is our last day of classes before Spring Break. Classes resume April 2nd.
Parking ,Bus Zones and Staff Parking Lot
- Do not park in front of the school, it is a designated School Bus zone.
- Do not use this area as a drop off, it is a designated School Bus zone
- Do not use the staff parking lot as a pick up and drop off area.
- Do not cut through the parking lot

Kindergarten, Grade 1 & Grade 2 | Language and Reading: Tying it Together with the Reading Rope
You're invited to join CBE speech-language pathologists in a session aimed at learning how to support language development and building reading skills. We'll focus on building language skills through shared reading experiences and playing with sounds during everyday activities. This is a live online two-part series intended for caregivers of kindergarten, grade 1, and grade 2 students. Please note that children's attendance is not required. Session 1:
• Foundational Skills for Reading: Exploring the essential skills children need to be successful readers.
• Shared Reading Benefits and Strategies: Understanding the benefits of shared reading with children, as well as strategies to make your shared reading time effective.
• Practical Vocabulary and Grammar Instruction: Learning effective strategies for introducing new vocabulary and modeling proper grammar through shared reading experiences.
Session 2:
• Unlocking Sound Awareness: Learning about the importance of identifying and playing with sounds in words in order to build strong reading skills.
• Sound Awareness Activities: Exploring home activities designed to enhance children's ability to identify and play with sounds in words. We look forward to welcoming you and learning together
