My oh my, here we are! This time of year can bring so many emotions, excitement about summer adventures, sleep-ins, popsicles and play dates.  Others might be feeling nervous, or anxious thinking of permanent goodbyes, new beginnings, unknown beginnings….  

I hope that you were able to see the Todd Parr Belonging project we did in the main hallway with the entire school. For the last 6 weeks, each class came up with an interactive question for the art - How many purple backgrounds? How many names start with a vowel? Etc. The last question from Ms. Hutton’s class was, ‘How many pictures can I find something in common with’? The answer at the end of the week was everyone! We all belong at Wildwood School.

This year we challenged and embraced the idea of belonging at Wildwood. Some days this was easy, and some days it was trickier. I couldn’t be more proud of our students, staff and families for creating a place that so many - for long and for short - can belong.

How will I know my child’s teacher?

On or before August 28th, you will receive a welcome email from your child’s teacher. This will let you know where to meet the first day of school, what classroom and doors your child will use. If you do NOT receive an email by 1:00pm on August 28th, please contact the school.
