Veterans’ Food Drive

The Veterans’s Association Food Bank is reporting lower than expected donations. We will continue to accept donations. Please bring non-perishable donations to the office.

Owl’s Nest Book Fair | Dec 4 & 5

We are excited to have local bookshop Owl’s Nest in our school for a book fair on December 4th and 5th! Students will have time to shop, and we welcome parents to pop in too! 


We will have a Scholastic Book Fair later in the year.


Lost Bike

A white bike has been brought into the school. It was found in the community. If you would like to claim it please call the office. 403-777-8430

Tasty Treats

We will be having our first Tasty Treats of the year to say thank you to our incredible staff. We are asking our Grade 2 and 4 families to please bring a nut free yummy snack to the office on the morning of December 10th! Thank you for helping us recognize our staff.


Festive Foods

Thank you to the families who have registered for Festive Foods through the Healthy Hunger portal. Our next lunch is scheduled for delivery on Thursday, December 4th featuring Panago Pizza.


To participate, please make sure your child’s Healthy Hunger profile is set up and your order is placed no later than tomorrow, Saturday, November 29th. You can get started by visiting Healthy Hunger - School. Majority of our orders are up and you can order all the way up to April/May 2026 in advance. 


We’re also looking for parent volunteers to help receive, sort, and deliver lunches once or twice a month. If you’re interested in getting involved at the school, please email raj.deol86@gmail.com to be added to our volunteer list. All volunteers must have valid security clearance through Calgary Police Service. 


Popcorn Fundraiser | Grade 6 Celebration

Also located in the Healthy Hunger portal is order forms for the Grade 6 Farewell Celebration fundraiser. Proceeds from popcorn sales will help fund Celebration events. Please support this event and order some yummy Kernels popcorn!


Mount Royal School Grade 6 Open House

Hello families of current grade 6 students, 

 

We are excited to invite grade 6 students and their families to our Grade 6 Open House at Mount Royal School on Thursday, January 29th, 2026.  

 

Following a welcome in the gym, families will be given the opportunity to tour the school and see the amazing programs and activities that Mount Royal has to offer! 

 

Students will be provided with a set of clues and a “Passport” which will take them to various spaces in the school, where core subject classes and options will be highlighted.  

 

We look forward to seeing you on January 29th!
