Join Court Rustemeyer, Outdoor Education teacher at Vincent Massey for an evening of stories and pictures. ‘Rusty’ will be sharing his experience of being selected to participate in a trip to Antarctica as a National Geographic Grosvenor Teacher Fellow.
Friendship Dance
The annual Friendship Dance for Division 1 students will be held on:
- Wednesday, February 11 at 1:00 pm
- Doors open at 12:50 pm
Division 1 parents are invited to attend. Students have been practicing and are looking forward to showing off their moves!
Kokomo Beach is Back!
Join us on Feb. 26 from 6 to 8 p.m. for Wildwood School's biggest party of the year.
This 30+ year fundraising tradition is back with all your favourites: Cake walk, DJ Hurricane (27-time Kokomo DJ), "minute to win it" games, A Pizza + at the concession, and a few new surprises! This year we will also have a 50/50 and silent auction in support of the playground replacement fundraising.
Come dressed in your brightest tropical-themed attire and dance your heart out in the gym. All children must be supervised throughout the event. Kokomo is an event for the Wildwood School Community, not the general public.
We still need some adult helpers for this fundraiser. Parents and Guardians are asked to sign up below to volunteer AND/OR provide a cake for our cake walk. Purchase your entrance, pizza, cake walk and concession tickets in advance at www.healthyhunger.ca or bring cash to the event to purchase tickets at the door. Please consider purchasing tickets in advance, as lineups at the event can get long! For families with multiple children in the school, please order all your tickets under one child's name, to help our volunteers.
The deadline to purchase tickets is Sunday, Feb. 22. Any tickets purchased through Healthy Hunger will go home with your child on Wednesday, Feb. 25.

Festive Foods
Thank you to the families who have registered for Festive Foods through the Healthy Hunger portal. Our next snack is scheduled for delivery on Wednesday, February 11th featuring Booster Juice. Please note this is not a lunch, as the menu items are only smoothies and will be served at snack time.
To participate, please make sure your child’s Healthy Hunger profile is set up and your order is placed no later than Friday, February 6th. You can get started by visiting Healthy Hunger - School. The majority of our orders have been set up in the portal through to April/May 2026 and you can always log in to see what events you have not ordered for.
We’re also looking for parent volunteers to help receive, sort, and deliver lunches once or twice a month. If you’re interested in getting involved at the school, please email raj.deol86@gmail.com to be added to our volunteer list. All volunteers must have valid security clearance through Calgary Police Service and complete the volunteer clearance form on MyCBE.
