Festive Foods. This fundraising program allows parents to purchase food for their child on specific dates throughout the year. It not only provides fun food for the students, but it also serves as a valuable fundraiser to raise money not just for the school itself, but for the children/families who take part in our Brown Bag Lunch program.
Kindergarten parents, we're so lucky to be able to include the kindies in this lunch opportunity again this year. We would like to ensure you are aware that the delivery of these will also coincide with their dismissal. As such, you may still want to send along a snack for the kids to get them through their school day, as this wont be delivered until the end when they are being dismissed.
We also have a skills and leadership opportunity for our Grade 5/6s this year. As we always need volunteers to help sort, confirm, and disperse the lunches to the classrooms we thought it would be a great opportunity for our older students to step in. For those students interested, we will hold a draw each month to randomly select a group of students, to assist us with the lunches.
We are always looking for more parent volunteers as well, so if you are able/interested in helping with these lunches (or if only for some of them) please send an email to raj.deol86@gmail.com to have your name added to the list. This usually takes less than an hour, and will give you the opportunity to see your children's faces while in their classrooms.

What is Festive Foods?
Our fun lunch program at Wildwood School is called Festive Foods. This program allows parents to purchase food for their child on specific dates through out the year. It not only provides fun food for the students, but it also serves as a valuable fundraiser for our school.
How Can My Child Participate?
Festive Foods is run on an online system called Healthy Hunger. All lunch orders are posted for Wildwood School and require a parent account to participate. You can sign up on the Healthy Hungry website and register your child.
How Do I Register?
Visit www.HealthyHunger.ca and click on Register Student Account. Fill out the Parent Account Registration and select Create My Account. You will then click Add Student and fill out the required information to add each child that is participating. Once completed, you will have access to all lunches that the school has posted. Online payment is required.
What If I Already Have an Account?
If you already have an account with Healthy Hunger, simply log in and enter your child’s new grade and teacher information. **This will have to be updated every year in order to use your account.

West Coast Seeds Fundraiser
Wildwood School Council is excited to be participating in a West Coast Seeds fundraiser. West Coast Seeds from BC provide Canada No. 1 standard seeds that are untreated, non-GMO, and suitable for sustainable organic growing. Order over 700 varieties of vegetable, flower and herb seeds from the West Coast Seeds fundraising website. You will save on shipping costs as all of the seeds are sent to Wildwood School for delivery in early March.
With every order, 40% of the packet price is generously donated to Wildwood School Council. These funds contribute to visiting artist residencies like Decidedly Jazz Danceworks and Quickdraw Animation Society, supporting class Field Trips along with School Council Events like Kokomo Beach and Activity Day. All funds raised are used to support your child and their school!
OUR SEED FUNDRAISER STARTS ON FRIDAY JANUARY 12th AND RUNS UNTIL FRIDAY FEBRUARY 9th, 2024.
Here’s how to order fundraising seeds:
1. Go to the West Coast Seeds fundraising website. Here you can see the available seeds, photos and descriptions of the plants, and growing information. You must order via the Fundraising Website and NOT their regular website.
2. Click Shop to select the seeds you would like.
3. When you have finished choosing your seeds click Cart and select WILDWOOD SCHOOL from the drop-down menu under Select Your Organization.
4. Please include your name, name of student, phone number and email address in your contact information.
5. Confirm your order and Proceed to Check Out for payment through their secure payment site.
6. You’ll receive a confirmation email from West Coast Seeds for your order.
7. Your seeds will be shipped to Wildwood School for pick up. We will contact everyone by email once the seeds have arrived in Calgary and are sorted and available for pick up in March.

If you have any gently used or new reusable lunch bags to donate please send to the school.

FundScrip is an established, Canada-wide fundraising program in which supporters pay for their shopping (groceries, gas, home & garden, entertainment, restaurants, and much more) with gift cards bought from FundScrip (100’s of retailers to choose from); thereby automatically generating contributions to your cause. You’re just changing the method of payment! Families will need to set up their own account using the invitation code to support our school at www.fundscript.com invitation code: 9WZNDP.
Loveable Labels
Wildwood School has another awesome fundraising event selling Labels. Labels are a great way, to have lost items find their way back to your child rather than in the Lost and Found. Go to the fundraising website for more information and to support this great event www.Wildwood.lovablelabels.ca .
