There are so many different things to celebrate this year - academic progress and achievement, wellness and how to be in the world. Our students have accomplished individual small steps - getting across the monkey bars, asking a new friend to play, solidifying the 9 times table and on and on. Our students have also accomplished big steps! - learning to read, programming robots, 1 perfect score and 4 silver medals at the Science Olympics, making new besties and on and on! Every day at Wildwood is a learning day.
We wish our grade 6 friends and families a very fond farewell. As I said at the grade 6 celebration, this is a special group of students. You all will be very missed.
The gift and hard part of being at Wildwood School is the coming…. And the going. For our students and families that are moving on, we wish you the very best.
And for those returning in the fall, we look forward to seeing you on September 2! Please watch for an email on or around August 28.
Thank you for trusting us with your child(ren). We never take for granted the privilege of being part of your child and families’ education journey.
Between the prairies and the mountains, in a city on a cliff beside a river, there’s a school, called Wildwood, where we come to learn and grow.
At Wildwood School, imagination rules, we work together, respect each other, we all belong, and we grow strong.
All the very best,
Erica and the Staff of Wildwood School
