Playground Update - Support Urgently Needed

The Playground Committee has been working hard to secure grant funding for the playground replacement project. There is a large government grant that could fund up to half of the project costs, however it will only match what we have raised by July 30.  Currently we have raised $150,000 of our total $600,000 budget. We need to raise an additional $150,000 by July 30 to request a grant for the remaining $300,000. If we are not able to raise enough money, the new playground design will have to be significantly reduced in scope. In short, we need as many donations as possible by July 30. 

You can help by:

1. Donating: Parks Foundation - School Projects (select Friends of Wildwood School from the drop down)

2. Asking your employer to match your donation and/or provide a corporate donation.

3. Volunteer to distribute flyers in Wildwood or surrounding communities. 

4. Asking local businesses, or any that you have a connection with, to donate.

The playground committee is small and cannot do this alone with such a short time frame. Please help in any way that you can - it will make a difference for our kids and our community for years to come. Online K-12 Report Cards Available June 25, 2026

Families can view, download or print online report cards for kindergarten to Grade 12 students June 25 – July 31, 2026 through MyCBE. Within MyCBE, families can also view student information, comments from your child's teacher, assignments and grades, and attendance information. 

Please note: After July 31, 2026, report cards will no longer be available to access in MyCBE.

If you intend to have your child attend Wildwood in the fall, but will not be starting on August 31st, please email the information to: wildwood@cbe.ab.ca

2026-2027 Transportation Registration Now Underway​

Registration for the 2026-27 school year began on May 13. Registrations must be received by June 14, 2026 to ensure students are added to routes for the first day of classes next year. Late registration will continue to be received but will result in a delay in access to the bus route.

Transportation is an annual service that can be paid monthly. Families are not able to register for only certain months ahead of time. Once registered, service continues until a cancellation is submitted, even if the student doesn't ride the bus every day.​
