Lost Clothing | Label
We are experiencing a great deal of lost clothing items left outside. We ask that you please label your child’s clothing so that we can return lost items to their owners.
School Council News
The next school council meeting is October 13, 6:30pm at the school.

Playground Committee Update:
Thank you to everyone who has supported the playground replacement project so far. We had multiple volunteers help hand out flyers in June and July, and through those efforts we raised an additional $182,000! An especially big thank-you to a few community businesses who generously donated to the project: Wildwood Dental, KidzInc, and Ritchie's Plumbing and Heating! We have currently raised roughly $350,000 out of our $600,000 goal. That means we've reached our first milestone of being able to at least replace the old structure with a new one. Our total goal amount includes the cost of installing a poured rubber surface so that we have a fully inclusive, accessible playground.
We have applied for the Government of Alberta CFEP grant, asking for the remaining amount needed to include the rubber surfacing. The decision for that grant will be announced in December. The next playground project update will be in the New Year as we wait for grant application decisions over the coming months.
Festive Foods
Thank you to the families who have registered for Festive Foods through the Healthy Hunger portal for our first couple of months of lunches! Our next lunch is scheduled for delivery on Thursday, October 22nd featuring Panago Pizza.
To participate, please make sure your child’s Healthy Hunger profile is set up and your order is placed no later than Saturday, October, 17th. You can get started by visiting Healthy Hunger - School. We are continuing to update the scheduled lunches in the portal, please ensure you check the WAG and the portal to ensure you don't miss ordering!
We’re also looking for parent volunteers to help receive, sort, and deliver lunches once or twice a month. If you’re interested in getting involved at the school, please email raj.deol86@gmail.com to be added to our volunteer list.
